Numbing Gel & Rinse

We want to make our patients’ visits painless, gentle and comfortable. We do this by applying a topical anesthetic, commonly referred to by dentists as numbing gel and rinse, to your mouth to numb the treatment area before we inject the local anesthetic and to help reduce anxiety that usually comes with dental procedures.

This gel is applied to your cheek or gums at the beginning of your visit by our dentists, and we let the gel sit on the surface for a few minutes to allow the numbing to take effect. This way, when we inject the local anesthetic, it should minimize your anxiety about the needle, and you won’t feel a thing.
